Workout Log for 5/18

Last week was pretty hectic it seems. I am hoping this week will be less so, however, my evenings appear to be filling up fast. Hopefully, the solution will be to weak up early and ride the bike. Yes. Good idea…. I also aired up my exercise ball that I bought when I was to have surgery last December. I was thinking I could use it as some sort of ball chair, but I hardly took the damn thing out of the box. Fixed.

Sunday 5/18 : 14:15 miles, 518 calories, 60:36 minutes. Did a bunch of exercises on the ball. Also, helped Jon get his pool ready most of the day, so that is added exercise. wee.
Monday 5/19 : 17.9 miles, 656 calories, 60:30 minutes. Watched 9th Gate – not sure if it was Johnny Depp or what, but I was able to keep my average speed above 20mph towards the last stretch. I feel a hell of a lot better too than I normally do after I bike regularly and it seemed like far less of a chore. hmm, interesting.
Tuesday 5/20 : 22.71 miles, 832 calories, 60:20 minutes. listened to the Podcaust. So after yesterday, I decided I really need to put more energy into the biking to make it worth while. If I am going to spend an hour exercising, I should get as much as possible out of it. I pushed hard from the beginning and managed to keep my speed above 20mph. Holla. Since it is so arly in the evening yet, I think I am going to make dinner, go the park and draw, and then maybe do some stuff on my exercise ball. Holla!
Wednesday 5/21: 22.36 miles, 819 calories, 60:18 minutes. Listened to more Podcaust. I am starting to think that the combo of biking harder AND writing down my times is helping because it is urging me to try to beat my time. I’m going to rock the workout ball some more and then off to a b-day party. wooo..
Saturday 5/24 : 21.94 miles, 804 calories, 61:11 Watched first half of Freaked – best movie ever – it has giant pot smoking rasta speaking eyeballs with machine guns.
