Day off Adventures – A Trip to the Como Zoo

I took the day off assuming we (DIM Media) wouldn’t get back from Wausau until late last night. Since we got back Saturday night, I decided to take advantage of the day off and hang out with my lovely girlfriend, who I have missed quite a bit while in Wausau. To kick off the day, we went to Como Zoo to see some animals. Aside from wading through seas of young mothers who didn’t seem to min if their kids were nearly falling into the animal pens, it was a lovely time. It was sunny, it was warm, and the orangutans were picking eachother’s butts. Pictures are below.

I apologize for the photos being blurry, but I refuse to use flash on the animals indoors. I think it is fairly inconciderate and right up there with pounding on the glass to get the animals to do something cute.
