the Lord’s Cure for Homosexuality… i hope this is a joke…
While reading some forums tonite, I ran across “The 100% Effective Cure for Homosexuality” - Eunicure
By just looking at the name, if you guessed becoming a eunuch has something to do with it, you guessed right. The worst part about it is that supposedly the service is offered for FREE! There is a lack of adequate medical care in this country and religious nuts are willing to offer this service for free. Please tell me this is a joke and I didn’t spend enough time on the site to catch it.
Update 5/13 : I’m still not 100% sure it is a hoax, but after Mandy’s comment and noticing that the mailing address was in Topeka, Kansas (a coincidental home of Fred Phelps?), I googled and found this article about someone who looked into it quite far. The site does indeed share an mailing address with Fred Phelp’s Westboro Baptist church. This might be a clever hoax to get more people to send hate mail to Phelps and his cronies. I’m still irate at them over the 35W bridge incident…

Hey, I’m pretty sure it’s fake. The photos are so bad and cheesy but also the testimonials are just plain stupid and over the top. It wouldn’t surprise me if the church had a place that really did something along these lines but I don’t think it’s this place!
